Isaiah - Blog 2 - Playtest 1
Basic Movement:
It seems the non-grid based movement system could be a problem in the future in regards to object collision and screen tearing, and would overall stray from the retro aesthetic attempting to be met. This may see a change.
Exploration:
The map seemed to be too small for some players, but this should be remedied in the future once the basic mechanics are built for the game and we can expand upon the already existing world and hopefully succeed in reaching the initial layout goals we had in mind at the conception stage.
Music:
There don't seem to be complaints as to the music, but we do want to insert ourselves into the game instead of ripping music directly from Pokemon, so the music will be changed and will be followed by extra additions, including ambient world music and battle music.
